Styled on the traditional Japanese Wagatabon tea trays these were turned in Beech before being allowed to warp as they dried.
The bases were then levelled flat before each flute was hand carved.
Ebonised with a home made mordant and finished with food safe Hard Wax oil. This one has a slight crack to the rim which self sealed through drying
