Hand carved fluting, burnished Providence Milk Paint

Sealed with multi coats of Japanese Hassui Ceramic Glass, a fully waterproof finish that penetrates deep into the wood.

Tested with both Hot and Cold Liquids. These cups are super thin and care must be taken, as with ceramics. Liable to crack if dropped and boiled water should sit briefly before pouring into the cup.
